Deetron - Count On Me

For their 50th release, Aus Music are proud to announce that Deetron will provide a very special single-sided vinyl pressing of his new single, Count on Me. Marking the half-century release of the label established by Will Saul in 2004 acts as reminder of the already impressive legacy left throughout the nine years of its existence. The label has not only helped to establish young producers, but also acts as a home for a truly incredible set of established artists. Particular highlights from the labels extensive catalogue would undoubtedly include the early Sideshow and Lee Jones albums through to SCBs 'Loss', Joy Orbisons 'The Shrew Would Have Cushioned the Blow, Midlands 'Through Motion' & 'Trace', Ramadanman & Appleblims 'Sous Le Sable', and also their phenomenal 'Void 23' with the Carl Craig Re-Edit, not forgetting Ramadanman & Midlands 'Your Words Matter', Duskys 'Nobody Else', 'Child' by George FitzGerald, and of course, Biceps 'You/Don't. All this has, perhaps unsurprisingly, led to Aus being one of Resident Advisors most charted record labels of 2013. With such a wealth of talent under its belt, Aus only felt it right to ask Deetron to mark this special occasion. As a producer, Deetrons melodic adaptations of electronica have seen him skirt the line perfectly between the soulful and the industrial and everything else in between, appealing to both techno heads and house lovers alike. Tvardovsky - Smoothly Tango

Not much needs to be said about the following producer of our next catalog release, just the mention of his name is enough to have everyone who is familiar with the progressive house movement for the last few years know that he has been a major contributor and a name who has helped revitalize and redefine the ever popular genre of Progressive. We are talking about non other then Tvardovsky, and this is the label remix release of 'Smoothly Tango' which was originally released on Aquasound. This release aside from including the two original productions by Tvardovsky, includes two Amazing remixes which we were quite mind-blown to say the very least. First of, we have a layered Melodic Progressive Tech version by the ever popular and innovative Canadian producer Bernie Allen. Also a name that carries big weight for his intricate productions, smooth progression, and well structured arrangements. Bernie has always delivered a production that surpasses our expectations. Finally we welcome the production duo of Madloch (Sound Avenue, Cross Fade, 3rd Avenue's Head Honcho) who teams up with Argentinean power house Eze Ramirez to delver a more Deep Tech version with a strong bass line as the foundation and a playful, exquisite and well balanced melodic structure where we find the layering of effected pads that create a build which resolves quite intelligently and smoothly to create quite the euphoric feeling you seek in a Deep tech and guarantying a positive response from a crowd on the dance floor.

Tom Demac and Will Samson - It Grows Again EP

After a string of releases on Drumcode Records, Pets Recordings and Hypercolour, Tom Demac has joined forces with Will Samson in a somewhat unlikely pairing for their debut release via AUS. Following on from AUSs celebratory 50th release from Deetron, a surprise re-release of Sei A and another solid EP from Dusky, this release takes the label along a more expansive and less dance floor orientated route.In 2012 Tom Demac established himself as one of the UKs most exciting producers after widespread acclaim for Critical Distance Part 2. He followed up this success in 2013 with collaborations and remixes with Glimpse such as L-Plates. On the other hand Will had been touring indie venues with Kurt Vile, Marissa Nadler, Shearwater, Ólafur Arnalds off the back of his newly released LP, Balance an album of hazy, ambient & intimate tape recordingsAt the end of 2012 Tom stumbled across Will's album, although on opposite sides of the musical spectrum, the two shared a similar ethos towards their work passionately creating, but never taking themselves too seriously. Having both experienced the recent and sudden loss of close family members just a few short months apart from each other, it was clear that there were both in need of a cathartic outlet.It Grows Again and Chasing Shadows reflects these experiences with a striking blend of wistful vocals and ambient guitar swells from Will Samson and Toms distinctive grumbling and weighty bass lines. The final track on the EP is Tom's formula remix which seeks a more 4 to the floor approach, led by punchy beats and groove rather than intricate vocals.Tom Demac will be complementing the build up to the release by playing gigs and live shows across the Netherlands, Germany, Ibiza and the UK.
